Sophie Swims

Here is a picture or two of Sophie's first swim. She is getting so big. She floated around in her boat float and then swam with mommy!

Just letting you all know that Sophie now has 6 teeth. She sprouted 2 more this week. Hope all is well and Iwill be sending new pictures soon.

Superbaby

9 month update

Here is a little video I just shot with her trying to get to her toys. Sophie and I are trying to plan a trip to Florida in May, but it will all depend on how the house stuff is going.
We love you all and promise it won't be so long again...unless we are in the midst of moving.

I know that it has been awhile since I've posted; however it has been a little crazy around here. We have put the house on the market, and will be moving in September. Will will be gone for about 2 months for training before we move, so I'm hoping to sell quickly. We are working on packing up some things.

Sophie will be 9 months on Friday and she is growing like a weed. She has 2 teeth (on the bottom) but has 4 more ready to pop through, with one top starting to break through. All the rest I can see under the gums. She's not crawling and I'm not sure she will. She just rolls. She aims her body where she wants to go and then rolls around. It is quite funny. She has her 9month appt on Monday so we will see what her stats are and I will send them out. She is definately taller than wider.

Hair-do

Daddy and I were getting ready for a day on the town. We recently got her some hair bows for the hair challenged. Now people can stop calling her a boy. Her hair is finally growing in.

Sophie's first big girl tub

I just took this. This is her first big-girl tub. She loves it. She was a little afraid of the water runnign at first, so we turned it off for a little bit and then turned it back on. She has 2 teeth now, and it looks like she is about to have a 3rd. I can't believe how fast she is growing. Seems like yesterday we took her home!

Sophie's a Bunny

Took this picture today. It was 21 degrees outside and we needed something warm to run to the store in. This did the trick. Plus, she looked adorable. It is so fitting since she loves to jump.

Today we had a casserole of yellow squash, rice cereal, and breast milk with a little side of pear! I do enjoy eating from the spoon. I eat at least once a day from the spoon now!

Daddy tells me that we are a family of kangaroos...I think he just needs some snuggles. I will say though it is really cold and he keeps me warm.

The Story of a Texas Road Trip

Mom and Dad were really tired after a day of driving so I decided I would help them out and drive for awhile...

Well, needless to say the police didn't like that so the cop pulled me over, and whipped the door open...

Sophie and the Man in Red

Today we went to get our picture with Santa, and she loved to stare at him. They all were so happy about how easy she was to have her picture taken. She is doing really great. Last night was the first night that she slept all night long. I was a little freaked out when I awoke the first time thinking I had overslept, but she was snoozed out. I can't believe how much she is growing up.

Sophie Jumps

Sophie loves her jumper! Here's a little video from today of her jumping. We went yesterday for her 4 month doctor's appointment. She is 14lbs 14oz and 26 inches long. The doc said she is very tall for her age (98%). She did have to get 2 more shots, which she wasn't so happy about, but it was quickly done and she cried for like 2 secs. Then, no big deal. Luckily, no fever this time although she has been dealing with a little cold this week. It has been so cold that she had her first snow (really just flurries) yesterday. I tried to get her our there to touch and then get a pic, but it was like 30 degress outside. Too cold for baby.
